Overview: In an ever-changing world it can be difficult to understand new trends and how to best integrate them into your business. Just a few years ago influencer marketing did not exist, but now it is one of the most dominant marketing techniques across many industries. This event will answer:

  • What is influencer marketing?

  • How can businesses / brands use influencer marketing to support growth?

  • Influencer marketing vs traditional marketing - advantages & disadvantages

  • How do influencers fit into the marketing pipeline for sales?

  • Real life examples of a successful marketing campaign using influencers

The panel of speakers include:

  • Ted Raad, founder and CEO of Trend Management, one of the fastest growing influencer management and influencer marketing companies in the United States. After identifying gaps in the influencer management industry, Raad wanted to create a company that was focused on influencers rather than the agency’s own bottom line. Raad launched Trend Management in 2019 with a roster of three influencers and under his vision and leadership, Trend now represents over 60 creators.

  • Brett Weliever is the VP of Brand Partnerships at Trend Social. Brett joined Trend in early 2020 and helped spearhead the launch of Trend Management’s sister company, Trend Social, which launched in June 2020, created to bridge the gap between brands and influencers. Trend Social works with over 20 brand clients in the fashion, beauty, home décor, family and lifestyle space. Clients include SPANX, Pink Lily, Oriental Trading, and Kendra Scott among others. With their vast network of influencers, Trend is able to bridge the gap between brands and influencers and drive sales through consumer awareness and affiliation. Their best-in-class service and personalized approach to each campaign is the key to their success in meeting each brand’s business needs. They support clients with everything from the creative concept to a seamless execution.

  • Patricia Mae Maristch, the owner of Piqued PR, the host of The Preppy Podcast and a lifestyle influencer. As the owner of Piqued PR she works with jewelry, clothing and decor brands. Her clients have been featured in Oprah, Southern Living, Real Simple, Town & Country, as well as celebrities, Real Housewives and many influencers.
