What is PHIT Applied Improv?
It’s a fun, and low stress way to learn and practice very valuable business skills that have valuable and long lasting benefits for your business and team. Skills like building connections and strong rapport both within and without the organization, collaboration and contribution, idea generation, flexibility and handling changes and recovering from missteps effortlessly, on the fly.
Improv might seem like “winging it” but winging it gets wing it results. Instead, Improv is a systematic practice of simple, yet highly effective skills that when practiced and used together allows individuals to experience deep focus, close listening, high levels of emotional intelligence, engaged team work and creative problem solving and innovation.
Applied Improv is not joke telling or calling people out, it’s not Minute to Win It challenges. Everyone is laughing, having fun and working together as our facilitators support and guide exercises and conversation to make certain the take aways make it back to the workspace. It’s how we train and learn to be more effective and productive at what we do.
