SLP Forums
what is the value of the slp forum?
EO considers the Spousal/Life Partner (SLP) Forum Program one of its most important and valuable member benefits. SLP Forums have been a part of the organization since the inception of the Forum program. Today chapters are realizing the value of the SLP forums, and new SLP forums are launched every year.
The more SLPs who are involved in EO, the stronger OUR chapter can be. This happens for three primary reasons:
SLPs understanding of the Forum experience negates any insecurity they may feel about the confidential nature of Forum. Conversations that begin with “I don’t understand why you can’t talk about Forum?” or “What have you been doing for the past five hours?” will be eliminated altogether.
SLPs will perceive a direct benefit from the chapter, therefore having a greater appreciation for the member’s affiliation with EO. This can have a positive effect on member retention as well.
SLPs will derive value from the Forum experience for the same reasons members do because they are receiving support/experience-sharing in various areas of their lives.

Benefits to our Spouse/Life Partner & Family
A special Forum just for SLPs: Forums are at the heart of EO. These safe, confidential groups foster EO members’ peer-to-peer discussion and reflection in a supportive, noncompetitive and nonjudgmental atmosphere. An SLP Forum works the same way but allows members’ SLPs to meet regularly with others who may share a similar mindset and who may be going through—or have gone through—similar experiences as the SLP of a leading entrepreneur.
MyEO events and activities: MyEO offers members and their SLPs and adult children the opportunity to join or participate in groups or events focused around specific passions. Groups range from snowboarding to mindfulness and meditation and events include a family leadership and adventure trek and a trans-Himalayan snow leopard expedition, just to name a few. SLPs and adult children have the opportunity to join a MyEO group or activity of interest to them. These unique efforts bring together EO members and SLPs for rare and wonderful adventures with others who share their interests.
Once-in-a-lifetime events: Learn, grow and network with other SLPs and EO members by attending the various educational, social, and philanthropic events available to EO members and their SLPs and adult children. These include regional, national, and international events where you can explore new topics or explore the local culture with exclusive tours, tastings, and activities. Learn more
